A modern hillside home now on the drawing board in Palo Alto, CA, designed by M. Designs Architects. Tapered walls of stacked stone hold up broad, thin roofs with warm wood soffits that reach far past the glass walls below. A long pool and stone terrace stretch along the rear, an upper terrace with glass railings looks out over the slope, and a garage tucks into the hillside under the main floor.
