James Residence
A modern home on the drawing board in Palo Alto, CA, designed by M. Designs Architects. Thin flat roofs with deep overhangs stretch over dark and light panels, vertical wood slats and long bands of glass, with a tall glass entry at the center. At the rear, the house opens to a long pool terrace, and stone retaining walls, stairs and boulder gardens step down the sloped lot.
